This is a universal folding crank handle that fits most casement operator crank spindles. It is diecast construction with a coppertone finish. The universal spline system fits most casement operators. It is easy to install. The folding design is often used to replace the normal crank handle to avoiding interference with window blinds.

Handle is supplied with multiple sized splined inserts to fit different windows. Good idea except the splined inserts are made of plastic and strip out the first time you try to operate the window.

The plastic adapter is flimsy and ill-suited for its sole function: to provide grip and allow the lever handle to exert force to operate the window. The plastic inserts strip incredibly easy. It’s maddening to have a pack of five of these things, with only one the appropriate size, for when the insert invariably fails. I’d rather pay more to have a sturdy metal insert than deal with this.

We thought this would be the solution to years of missing wind Handels, but it didn't work at all, the plastic inserts don't have the strength to grab the teeth on the other end and crank the wind closed.

These are very easy to open when you want to open or close the window and again very easy to fold when you want them out of the way of window blinds or shades..

I tried not fully seating the handle on the spine of the casement window and the handle wouldn't function correctly. When the handle was seated fully it function well, however it would mar the wood trim of my Peach Tree windows.
