Designed for production usage, it is a specialized rolling tool with a 2 inch x 2 inch flat steel roller and ball-bearing hub. The primary use is for pre-rolling vinyl screen spline and screen fabric into the frame channel prior to final spline installation with a concave roller.

on the advice of the local screen shop I used this to pre-set the spline in the 8 screen doors I assembled last week. Then chased and set the spline with a normal spline tool.. saved a ton of time and frustration.
