I’ve bought tons of this 10D galvanized nail in various quantities over the past year and they are all spot on. Note: Primesource is the parent company for the Grip-rite brand, so these nails will come packaged as Grip-rite. Also, all 50 lb boxes of Grip-rite come in cardboard boxes, whereas the smaller 30 lb versions come in a plastic carry case bin. As I’ve been using very dry lumber, I have shied away from my pneumatic nailer due to splitting issues and have relied upon pre-drilling and using these nails for the job. Flat out, these are 10d nails so if you need a 10d, then these will work. But, I have noticed that they are a tiny bit thicker than my 10d pneumatic ones and are more ductile such that you can bent them back into shape rather than have to pull them out if you bent one over. Over the thousands of 10d nail I’ve driver over this past year, maybe 10 were defective with a mashed or missing head. I would and will be buying again.
