When you blow/use it the wood starts to fall off and makes the sound. Worst it's great just it's needs better wood or no wood at all

A very well made predator call. makes a long range raspy rabbit cry . should work well both out west for jack rabbits and in the areas of the country where there are snowshoe hares !

Never tried one of these before. Heard great stuff about it.Upon my first try, I scared the crap out of my girlfriend, and got my cat's attention, causing him to charge into the bedroom to see what made the sound.10/10 - Would buy again.

Coyotes show up in our front yard minutes after trying this in my house. This seems like a quality call and has a really nice and loud screech.

Easy to use, sounds loud and my dogs go nuts when they hear it.

Yep. Spot on. The double reed really gives it depth of sound. Yotes beware. Primos makes solid calls period.

Bought the cotton tail version of this call for my now ex girlfriend about a year ago and she bought me the jackrabbit version. After field testing them both in upstate SC for eastern coyote I have found that the cotton tail version is much better. They are both very raspy calls but rasp is the only thing the jackrabbit call has going for it. If east of the Mississippi definitely go with the cotton tail call. Idk how they would field test on western coyote
