I had just recently got myself able to produce sound with their Diaphragm call. But found it quite tricky, so I ordered this pack with The Primos Hot Dog and KiYi caller. MAN!! The Hot Dog has got some SERIOUS Volume! If you are someone who ever played a Clarinet or Saxophone at some point in your past, I think you'd be surprised at how quickly you can reproduce coyote calls with these products. I'm a n00b hunter. I've only taken two Mule Deer so far. But I want to try my hand at Coyotes and BobCats because I've had several encounters with them while scouting/hunting for deer. BTW... Here's a user tip: With the KiYi or Little Dog callers... if you are trying to produce a bird distress call... rotate the mouth-piece so that the reed is like at a 45 degree angle in your lips. I found it makes it much easier to allow your tongue to sorta "roll your R's" when blowing to make that particular kind of sound.

I love both calls but thought that the DVD was a How-To video and it's just a bunch of coyote hunts.

You can tell the hot dog is mass produced, Ththe ki-yi is a great call, espically and only for the pup distress. Better calls are out there, but a great call for the price.

I have mixed feelings on this pack and I'll briefly explain. First off, this comes with 2 calls and one dvd. The larger of the two calls is the "hot dog" plus the removeable megaphone. If you haven't heard this call just YouTube it or watch anything Randy Anderson does. The call itself is very loud. With the megaphone attached it is deafening. I found this open reed caller a bit more difficult to master than the Hunters Specialties Coyote Dog Howler. The HS Dog Howler is like $8 at most places, but I have seen it up to $16. It's far easier to master and easier for beginners, but not near as loud. The other call included the Ki-Yi. This is your cottontail, jackrabbit, in distress call. It can do a few more things like the ki-yi call, pups in distress, etc. I LOVE this call. I have a few rabbit calls, but love how versatile this little call is. It's perfect for someone starting out or a master. The call can be played with the cover on or using open reed and it sounds great. Again, look up this call on YouTube to see the pros using it. Unfortunately, the DVD has nothing to do with using these calls. It is literally just a coyote hunting movie from Primos. It's entertaining, but it's really doesn't give many tips on hunting coyotes and they don't even touch on how to use either one of these. I wish they would include a special DVD with this kit that showed how to use it, even if they just put together what Primos has available on YouTube. Overall, this is a great starter set. The hot dog has a little steeper learning curve than some other calls and the DVD is really just entertaining, not much educational information included. Good deal though. 4 stars.

This product was advertised as 2 calls and a video, they will charge you the price of this package but only send you one call! However they did work with me and gave a little money back. The quality of the product is as expected, however its pretty disappointing when you think your getting 2 calls and only receive one.

First of all this was my first Randy Anderson video and I was amazed at the feel of connection it gave you with Randy and his hunting buddies. The footage was super and the ability to see, listen & practice calling along with, really helped me to develop appropriate sounds. This is something I have never had before. I wanted to have some versatility in my calling. For 18 yrs I have just usedd a rabbit call and my success rate seemed to dwindle dramatically. My first hunt I called in a dog with the Hot Dog. And about twenty sets later I called in pair with a rabbit call. My brother got the female and the male got away. I called the KI-Yi one time and he came sprinting back to her and I got him. EXCITING!!!!

Not what I expected. Teaches you nothing about using the calls that are sold with the video. Good if you just want to watch some coyote hunting with electronic calls.
