About this item

  • DESIGNED FOR MAXIMUM CONTROL—Our professional-quality paint brushes are 100% synthetic, animal-friendly and offer excellent stiffness, snap and shap retention.
  • LONG-WEAR SYNTHETIC—Modeled on the look and feel of hog bristle, this synthetic paintbrush retains its shape and stiffness better than its natural counterpart.
  • ALL-PURPOSE BRUSH—These artist paint brushes work best with heavy paints, including oil, acrylic and water-based mediums. The Stiff hair provides excellent control and placement of color.
  • A REAL WORKHORSE—The Dakota Series is a collection of professional paintbrushes designed to hold and absorb more paint and stand up to heavy-body acrylics, gel and water-soluble oils without bending, breaking or going limp.

Product Description

When you're working with heavy paints, the last thing you need is a brush that loses its shape and resilience. That's why the experts at Princeton Artist Co. developed the Dakota collection. Our long-handled brushes are designed with synthetic interlocking, inward curved hair that perfectly matches the stiffness of natural hog bristle, but with the snap and shape retention that can only be found from a synthetic. This incredibly versatile brush easily powers through the heaviest paints without giving out, going limp or losing its shape, even in water. A real workhorse, our brushes can be used with a variety of mediums, including heavy-bodied acrylics, oils, water-miscible oils, gels and impasto media. Dakota brushes are durable, affordable and versatile, making them ideal for professional painters and amateurs alike.

I'm new to painting. It's a hobby that I picked up later in life, and when I first started I bought some cheap brushes. They were fine, I was like this is how painting with brushes is(I painted with markers when I started). I decided I'ma look for a better quality brush. Not to expensive, but still expensive enough for 1 brush. So I bought this Filbert 12 and lemme tell u my stroke game crazy(no pun intended) with this brush,it was like night and day. I almost fell like like I'm playing an rpg (role playing game) and unlocked a sword that let's me deafeat my foe (the canvas lol) much easier than if I had my old rusty sword. Anyways I'm an amateur and have no idea about brushes or art so don't take my word for it. I feel like you won't be disappointed if you purchase this brush. It's made in China just FYI if ur into knowing where it was made

By far the greatest control without scraping off paint. Very firm with spring and yet, ample bristles make for paint sponges. Few brushes feel as luxurious.
