I was a bit skeptical to try this because the app “Tiny Print” that is used with this printer gets horrible reviews. Seems people give it 5 stars or 1 star, with 1star being the majority. But I had no problems at all. I have an iPhone that I use the app with.The quality of the print is acceptable. Not great, but for what it is, I’m very happy. One can even print out entire web pages! On doing that, the font is small, but readable.

This cute little thermal printer is portable, compact and very easy to use. Install the app, connect to Bluetooth and off you go. Makes a great gift and perfect for traveling to make notes, drawings, letters and even photo prints.My only recommendation on improvement would be to add some features and functionality to the app. I actually found the app a little frustrating trying to find how to print just a few words. I figured it out eventually. On a positive note, it is safe for kids and they will have fun with all the extra rolls, markers, stickers, and accessories to come with this printer. Hours and hours of fun.Overall, this is a good printer for the price point and easy to use. The app is okay but a bit on the basic side.

This is a great little device that could provide hours of fun for youngsters and even offers some use’s for the adults.The printer comes with an assortment of extras including charging cable, extra assorted paper rolls, carrying strap, coloured tabs, colouring pens, and a poorly translated manual.Yes the manual is poorly translated, but you will get the gist, and it is multiple languages, so if English doesn’t work for you, you can try one of the other languages, and they may be better translated.The print quality is bleh but good enough for text and cartoon graphics. Photo prints will probably disappoint you.Also it is monochrome, black and white, so you will have to use the included colouring pens to colour it in.The set-up is very easy. Mine came fully charged, so I simply downloaded the app (you have to use the app to use the printer), connected my phone to the printer via Bluetooth (easily done within the app), and started printing. Easy.The app comes with many printing options. You can use the phone camera to take and print pictures, you can print photos from your phone’s library, you can print documents, write and print text, or print any of the apps included graphics. It even has an AI image generator! I type in Chinese dragon and got the one included in my photo. You can regenerate if you don’t like the one it generates.It is all very cool and lots of fun. Once the initial thrill has faded, you will probably still find uses for it.

This is a very cute little thermal printer that takes 57mm thermal paper rolls. It includes 4 white paper rolls (including the one that is pre-loaded) and 3 coloured paper rolls, a wrist strap, a USB-C charging cable, a pack of sticky note tabs, and a pack of mini felt markers.One of the features on the app is AI generated line art of any photo you feed into it, which is cute. I tested it with a photo of a slug fidget toy. Thermal paper isn't the best colouring surface if you want a smooth, even finish as the ink will pool and slide and dry at different rates, and any spots with too much ink will be smudgeable many hours later. It does have some upsides, though, as the slippery surface makes basic water based markers blendable, which they normally wouldn't be, and this paper will not absorb the wetness of the ink and develop holes as you colour.I'm not a fan of the plastic teeth manual cutter, where you just have to rip the printed strip off at an opposing angle. I have a similar small label printer with a sliding cutter that works much better.Overall the print quality is pretty good and I'm impressed with how much paper comes with it. The printer itself gets a 4 and the idea of making it optionally a craft kit is very cute. With that said, since this printer requires a specific app, the review would not be complete without reviewing the app itself. First of all, it's 2024, where's the QR code to take me to the app? I had to squint at and actually read all the itty bitty print material to get the name of the app to look for and download (Tiny Print, by the way.) Once in the app it really seems focused on using the AI tools, and as far as I can tell the only way to use this to print things like shipping labels would be to make that document somewhere else and upload it to the app for printing.

The photos in the description imply colored printing.. NOPE! Also the quality is very poor. I'm sending it back. Black and white and a ton of noise. I gave 2 stars because it was super easy to set up and printed quickly.

I was really surprised when I saw that this worked without ink, but it did. It can print my small drawings as thermal stickers. I really love it.

One of first time I've set something up, and it works the first time. This is a great unit to print lists sticky notes, and any other small printing items. It comes with a lot of paper and colors. This printer will be nice when your away from home and need to print a list or small picture.
