Lid is too small by 1/8". Box has no clasp so lid won't stay closed. Worthless, do not buy.

Bien, pero la madera viene casi al natural. Como proyecto está bien. Yo las lijé y barnicé.Otro detalle es que la tapa no cerraba perfectamente, pero tiene solución.

How it's made, color, size - overall is good.Just one flaw - the lid is made slightly too small and falls out if the box is tilted on its side.Had it been made even 1/8" wider, it would stay within the grooves but instead, it falls out because it's too small.If you don't tilt the box it works but while it jiggles around in my canvas bag, it ultimately doesn't stay.

I know the dimensions are right in the product name, but I was still surprised by how large this box was when I had it in front of me. Using a measuring tape and my imagination didn't quite give me the right idea of the box's size when I was ordering it. Anyway, I am using this box to hold a couple of paint brushes. The Liquitex Basics #12 flat and #4 fan brushes fit inside easily, and they are brushes with long handles.This wooden box is assembled and finished well. The finish isn't super glossy, but it isn't completely bare wood either. It's nice to have something wooden instead of plastic or cardboard. The gold Pro Art badge makes the box look fancy. I do have a couple of criticisms about this box. First, the sliding lid fits loosely on mine. The lid moves around quite a bit when in the groove. The reviews range from the lid being tight to the lid being loose, so lid fit is a potential issue. My second suggestion or criticism is I wish there was some kind of soft lining or foam inside the box. If you only have a couple of brushes or small objects inside, they will rattle around when you move the box. I'm going to look for some foam or maybe just a cloth to help keep the brushes from rattling around.

I wasn't sure if this was what I needed at first for my graphite drawing supplies. When I received it I knew it was perfect. Everything and more fits and not to mention the craftsmanship and quality of this box. It's perfect for pencils, erasers, sharpeners, lead and charcoal supplies and also anything else. Though the best part being the awesome price! Thanks Amazon!

This brush box is simple but well made. I use it to hold my mechanical pencils, but it should also work well for brushes. The box opens and closes smoothly and the lid fit is excellent. It won't open accidentally. One of the best wooden boxes I've seen on the market. I only wish it were a little deeper and wider so it would hold more.

Keeps drawing utensils protected and protects my drawers from my drawing utensils. It's pretty well made of real wood, simple and elegant. It came wrapped in plastic thick enough to protect the wood without being over-packed. I haven't measured the interior, but it fits my brushes and art pencils. I did order the longer one now that I know that this one meets my needs. Could easily store other things as well. No flimsy hinges to break or rust.

Bought this specifically because of its measurements - it stated 1-1/4 by 4 by 10 1/2 inch. This box is actually 1 3/4 by 4 1/4 by 9 3/4. I needed the 10-1/2 inch length to fit the items I was intending to. Hence it is useless to me and will probably return it if it is economically viable to do so. In terms of the quality it does seem reasonably well made though.

I took a shot using this box. I was looking for something that I could breakup a cuby hole and look nice at the same time. So what I mean by taking a Chance I ordered a few of these. They all came in at the same time and every one of them had the same High Quality and looked outstanding. These are some VERY VERY NICE stoage boxes and I use them for Sketching Supplies and various other ART Supplies. I can't say enough good things about these boxes so I'll just say that this is an excellent product
