The rack appears to be good for the money: no more, no less. The rails are stout, and the handles/hardware are nice. A few things to know before buying:-Multiple units will stack when the lids are off, but not with the lids on. With the lids on, the four corner protectors will make contact and nothing else. Since they're round, I don't recommend this.-The screw hole spacing on the rails is the asymmetrical type, so if you plan to leave a gap between mounted units, it has to be a full rack space (can't just skip one screw hole).-It scares me a little long-term that there are only two bolts per rail for mounting the rail to the body. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase, and it should last me indefinitely. You get what you pay for, but this rack might exceed its price tag considering the quality components.

I am really amazed at the build quality of this case. I am so impressed with it that I am looking for other sizes. This was truly a good buy.

This case is well-made for a low-end case. ABS-laminated plywood. Plywood appears dense and not cheap. The reason I initially purchased this one was the two pairs of handles where most others have only one on each side. I have 2 very heavy amps in this case and some cable storage, and the covers are deep so they more than clear the knobs and decorative faceplates. There are rack rails in both the front and rear, and they are bolted through the wood (not screwed) into a low profile head so it is unobtrusive. If you want top end audio gear, go find yourself a $400 6U case. If you want a case for about a third of that, this is an excellent value for the price. I have speakers and other gear stacked on top of it - its sturdy. The only downside is one that almost all case manufacturers have gone to - rivets. My old gear had bolts and screws. I guess if any work loose, it will be easy enough to drill them out and put a screw or bolt in.
