Works great and looks good too. Only thing is the speeds seem very fast even the lowest setting but as long as you're careful it doesn't matter too much

Just got it today.It looks like it was opened and usedThe mixer will not even turn on and it smells very bad.I was looking forward to using this..Not happy.

I bought this to make whipped Shea butter which consists of Shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil and lavender essential oil. I am very pleased with it. It mixed the oils together easily but didn’t splash them everywhere like my other mixer. So it does the job I bought it for.

PROS- Easy ejection of beaters. This is one of the most important features for me. By pressing down on the button that controls speed at the top, the beaters easily eject. Thus your hands don’t get messy in the cleanup process.- Light weight. This is not bulky, at least compared to some other hand mixers I’ve had. Operation is smooth and easy.- Good for cookie dough. I primarily use this mixer for making cookies. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to keep mixing once the dough starts to form, but I do anyway. I’ve never had a problem. I always fold in the chips at the end using a spatula, so I’ve never had the issue of dough flying.CONS- Small. This isn’t really a negative, since the product is a hand mixer after all.VERDICTI can’t really find too many negatives with this thing. I bought it to replace a previous mixer where one of the beaters broke. I use it all the time, and I am quite pleased.

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking and cooking all kinds of goodies so I needed this type of mixer that had a little more oomph to it to get through the thickest of batters and doughs without having to spend a ton of money. I read the reviews on quite a few brands and decided to take a risk on this one. Best case scenario I get a kick butt blender for less than half the cost of a high end one, worst case scenario I wasted a whopping $13.00 on something I was suspecting would not perform like the lamborghini of the hand mixer world.Pros:1) It's not too big and not too small, it's just right for where I store it2) Surprisingly enough for a dirt cheap product is has more than enough power. You can't complain it's not strong enough after paying $13.00 bucks for it ...I mean you can't really expect a $300.00 performance out of it can you?3) I love that the back end of it has a little 'step' like feature and what this does for me is lets me leave my mixer resting IN the bowl without it slipping or sliding into what I'm mixing or out of the bowl. I can leave it in there and go get something from the fridge or whatever. Who doesn't love hands free? With the right bowl (rubber bottomed anti-slip bowl) you can leave your mixer turned on and in the bowl mixing for you while you poke around your cupboards. You are most likely not supposed to do that but I do it anyways lol.Cons:The only problem with this machine that I have is that the speed switch is also the pressure sensitive whisk release button. Once in a while when in a real rush I press the button down which makes the little mixer blades pop out when I meant to increase the speed. It's such a random far and few between occurrence that it doesn't really bother me all that much.The bottom line...If you want a great hand mixer and a fraction of the cost this is the one to get. It's a hard little worker and doesn't put up much fuss when mixing the thicker doughs. It's been a trooper through mixing banana bread batter, brownie batter, it's been a real trooper through thick cookie doughs, I've mixed pizza dough with it, it's great at mashing/blending/mixing bananas, etc..You just can't go wrong for the money.

Unbeatable price. Has handled a dozen batches of mashed potatoes, etc. well thus far. Feels light and is more compact compared to competitor models.I see that other reviewers have commented that it burns out quickly. I will update if that happens to me but so far seems perfectly functional after 20+ uses. Great temporary or cheap solution. I got it because I didn't want to invest $50+ for a named one at the time and I don't regret buying it.UPDATE: I agree with other reviewers who complain that there is no "slow" speed. Compared to other mixers I've used the slowest setting on this indeed seems more like a medium speed. However, I have not had to deal with the splash effect of contents shooting out of the bowl so no stars deducted in my opinion. I'm not sure why this is, perhaps better beater placement? But don't let the speed discourage you as I have found these to be very clean.

This little mixer works perfectly if you want to mix something up every once in a while. I have used it to whip up egg whites, whipped cream, mashed potatoes, carrot cake, and shortbread cookies. It strained a bit with the shortbread cookies, but it pulled through. Keep in mind this is small and not very powerful. If you need something heavy-duty, this is not it. However, it works fine for me and was cheap. I love it!It is true that from setting 1 to 5 there isn't a huge difference, but like I said, I'm only using this to make my life easier. Obviously this cannot replace something like a stand mixer. Also, the eject button is the same as the speed setting (push down instead of forward and backward). i have not had any issue with turning it on/ejecting it by mistake, but it could happen.The cord is long enough to be comfortable in the kitchen and it is easy to clean.

This is an extremely basic mixer. Since I was just going to be doing very light duty things on occasion with it, I opted for it, but it seems somewhat flimsy and not especially powerful in use, and it's also easy to accidentally eject the beaters when changing the speed (you press down on the same button to eject). (After using it awhile this is no longer a problem.)There's no balloon whisk attachment for getting lots of air into egg whites but I've still managed to make decent souffles with it, and I would never even attempt a heavy dough with this. For the stuff I do use it for though (souffles, custards, creme brulee, and so on), it's not especially fast, not especially powerful, but it does the job well enough (and everything else I can do in my food processor anyway).Everyone should be realistic. Even $50 to $90 mixers on here have less than stellar reviews. This is for someone on a limited budget or who uses only very occasionally. Anyone who rates it poorly on performance for things like cookie dough or mashed potatoes is totally unrealistic in their expectations of what $15 can buy you nowadays.
