Bit cuts well but is a little fiddly to get set up.

Made it four feet into cedar board, when the bit bent, taking out my router boards nearly removing my fingers….. my best guess is that these bits need to run slower than my fixed speed router was turning. In fairness, I had a second finger joint bit that I purchased at the same time through Amazon. I rebuilt my table, installed that bit and it bent immediately, before even touching my board. Maybe a warning about max rpms on these bits…. Just a thought.

Not professional quality but a very good tool and the price was great.

This set works well for cabinet door stock up to 3/4" thick. However, wish the top cutting head was wider so it would also work on 7/8" (or anything over 3/4") stock. Stayed fairly sharp for my initial project of 70 rails and styles.

I have used a wide variety of router bits, but I haven’t delved into bits for joinery. It took some tweaking and making a sacrificial fence for my homemade router table, but I was able to get a good fit after some trial and error. I didn’t dial it in 100% for a perfect fit, but I was happy with how it came out in my experimentation. I found that you can make a cut on your two scrap boards, stick them together and measure how much of a difference there is on one side of the joint, divide it by half and then move the bit up or down that much to get 90% there. The bit performed well and made clean cuts. It being a 1/4” bit, I got some wobble until I made sure the bit was seated against the collet. It did not show any wear on the cutting edge after making cuts for over an hour, so it should hold up to use as well as any other. After taking it for a trial run, I would confidently purchase this bit. I’ll update if it has any issues in the future.

I got this obviously to make make finger joints. It works well. I used it on some pine boxes, and it produced some nice tight joints. It cut through the pine relatively easily.

The product looks nice online, but have yet to receive it. Over a week late and Amazon has no idea where it is
