I have used this brush for a little over a year and it has up wonderfully through everything I’ve done with it (watercolor). The point is still sharp, the bristles still hold a thirsty amount of water-color and it cleans up well.Highly pleased with my purchase.

This brush is a joy to paint with. I purchased the size One (1). It responds readily to variations in pressure and direction. It holds a good amount of paint. The smooth, polished wood handle is attractive and feels good in my hand. I will be using this brush to paint flowers and other small decorative shapes and designs on homemade stationery and envelopes. I totally recommend this brush. It is a very good value for the cost.

Since it’s a mix of natural and synthetic, it’s got quite a bit of snap to it and perhaps too much snap for some.Holds a decent amount of water and forms a nice point. I can’t speak to how long the point will last as it’s still a new brush for me. I noticed a few stray hairs when I first cleaned it but the hair loss has stopped since then. As is the case with many natural hair brushes, losing a few hairs initially, when you first start using it, is to be expected.Overall, it seems like a well made and reliable brush and definitely a bargain at this price point.

I dont tend to buy real hair brushes. These are great for me tho and I know if I take care of them they should last forever as hair is strong. I have ordered the 4, and I have the 1,2 and 6. 6 being quite large but because of the point, it worked for fine details plus being a wash brush! Love them!

Je peins à l’aquarelle et c’est un excellent pinceau. Je compte acheter le no 6! Ce sont des poils d’écureuil!

I have been using Windsor Newton kolinsky sable brushes for pretty much my whole life. I bought a size 4 and size 6 on a whim recently not expecting them to be so great. I really love these brushes I used the size 4 for pretty much everything on this painting. I was really blown away at how versatile it is. I was able to fill large areas with ease and while wet the brush retains a great tip so I was also able to do small details with it just as easily as using a smaller round. I really love this brush.

It earned 5 stars for "performance" after a week of hesitant use. But only 3 and less stars for "comfort" because the brush smelled like it brought it's squirrel along and it was much deceased and past all "experations". Otherwise and after a week or so it has thankfully become an non- oderouse painting experience. It proved to be very well constructed but initially poorly inducted olfactorally .It would make me happy and eager to buy more right away if the price was a few bucks less. But i bought 5 more anyway. They came as a set.I probably won't use them for anything but water colors because they really are very good at that and I'd hate to spoil their wet run. I have lots of other brushes for oils so I won't risk insulting them with the harsh routines that my oil brushes endure with their specialities remaining highly intact and admired for what they can do. The rigors of such athletic oil fit brushes are well exercised in what their watercolour cousins would not survive! Yes buy these brushes. They are one of the best I've tried for water colour paintings and are they are well constructed for holding and allowing control of what otherwise can become just flood damage ruining beautiful watercolour paper.

when this brush arrived, and a i unwrapped it i could feel [and see] the handle was not right. upon careful examination, it broke in two. i took a picture and sent it to the seller. they replied that they were sorry and would try to make it right. i told them i had already glued and taped it so i could paint with it. but i would be happy with a discount code for the next size up and i would buy it on the amazon site.. well the next day they asked for my info and would send me the next size up as a way of making it right. i really appreciate that kind of service. by the way, the paintbrush is a lovely watercolor brush that has a nice flow to it and holds the color nicely. i give the product a 5 star review because...it is a 5 star product with a 5 star customer service to stand behind it. the fact that the handle broke ...well, there are any number of ways that could have caused that. thank you
