Metal is thicker than cover it replaced. It flexes less and doesn't distort around mounting bolts when they are tightened.

Fit well came with all necessary gaskets. Only downfall is it being covered by the water pump. You will also need to get an aftermarket timing mark set to bolt on with it. Not their fault for my oversight. Would have just repainted my original had I thought ahead
