Spring rates have been chosen to reduce front end inch dive inch during braking, yet still provide excellent ride comfort. Better yet, we warranty our fork springs for life. Progressive rate fork springs have several advantages over straight rate springs. A progressive rate spring has the advantage of a rising rate resistance to compression. The benefit of this is that the spring can be soft enough at the start of the travel to offer a inch plush inch ride, yet be firm enough at the end of the travel to soak up the big bumps.

Took the wallow and slop out of the front end of my Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad. She’s a tank but rides much better with Progressive products front and back.

The set from InStock Motorsports did not come with the spacers and washers needed for my 07 Roadstar, even though it's the same item number.I'll update my review with ride quality info after I go to the hardware store to get the items needed for install.

I bought these for my 2003 Yamaha Vmax 1200. The original springs would almost bottom out when I took the bike off the center stand and would dive any time I touched the front brakes. Now, it actually feels like a motorcycle. No dive at all, and the bike sits upright instead of dipped in the front. Highly recommend!

Like these springs. Installed on 08 yam Road Star. Made the front end seem more secure going around curves. Not as springy. I used 10 weight fork oil. Wish I had used 5 weight but already bought the 10. These springs displace more fork oil than factory ones because they are thicker. Follow instructions and measure the height of of the oil in the fork tube. Might be a problem if you install them with forks on. I had mine off. This was my first cruiser type motorcycle. I couldn't get over the mushy feeling this bike had. This helped a lot in my opinion. Lighter the oil the lighter the compressing in the forks. All in what a man wants.

Excellent product, improved handling and instructions were easy to understand. Would recommend this product if you're considering replacing your fork springs.

I originally purchased these springs for my 05 Suzuki c90 then realized they were the wrong part number and cancelled. I ended up reordering the 11-1126 part number which fits bike but they did not ride well at all on my motorcycle. I had bought them because the head bearing had gone out and i had the shop servicing the forks anyway. They were so stiff, they made the bike act like it wanted to high side in curves. I really fought to negotiate a line on a curve as they were pulling me up and out. I put the factory springs back in and the bike goes right through curves again.

installation is a bit time consuming, but my fork oil needed to be replaced anyway. the improvement was very apparent. i ride a 1600 roadstar silverado, and they did wonders for that piece of heavy metal, I'm guessing anyone who drops the $$ on these will be pleasantly surprised. nose dive while applying heavy front brakes and while cornering are dramatically improved.... try them out, you'll see. $$$ well spentride safe brothers!
