These shocks dropped the back of the bike about 1 & 1/2" which is what I was looking for. I installed these in about 30 to 45 mins. I adjusted the shock spring tension or sag for when me and my gf are both on the bike and the ride is fine considering that you gave up some suspension travel to lower the bike. Biggest thing for these to perform well is setting the spring tension/sag for the weight that will be on the bike. I have put about 100 miles on the bike with these on and so far I am satisfied and they work well.

Had burly slammers standard duty, my big 250lbs arse bottomed those out. Destroyed 1" off my wire harness under my fender. Got 11" heavy dutys and put them at pre set 5. Haven't bottomed out, rode yesterday 2 up for a hundred or so miles with no rub or bottoming out. we'll see in time. If i edit this they've broken or suck. Some say the ride is rough, I say not really. Kind of like a caddilac compared to the slammers, but not stock either. They handle the twists pretty well.UPDATE!!!! I've put 10k on them, after they broke in they became a little more comfortable, but the bIke being lowered still rides over bumps lIke a dropped civic. My big arse still hasn't bottomed these out.
