Purchased these from MX South at an excellent price and received a quick response to my questions prior to sale. I put these on my 2021 FLTRX. easy install and great fit. It lowered the bike around 1 inch. It literally absorbs the little bumps of the road. As for the dips, it does a much better job than the stock shocks. Progressive instructions recommends that you install these upside down on a bagger if you use quick release sissy bar or rack. When I did that it did not leave much clearance between the the shock and the quick release assembly. Installing the the top side up gave me more clearance. I emailed the manufacturer, and they said go for it. Also, use the provided aluminum bushings for the top of the shocks, otherwise when you tighten them, it will push the rubber out of the shock and tear it up.

My 2019 Road Glide Special Handle's and Rides just as well as stock shocks. Bike feels more stable at all speeds and cornering.I will say they are a little stiffer but not harsher .

I purchased these and installed them on my new 2020 Road Glide hoping for a slightly less harsh ride when solo with no luggage and only my 185 lb. self on the bike. The Progressive 944s, even at the lowest preload setting, do not make the ride any less harsh, and I see no sign of the advertised improved performance or road surface adaptivity. Perhaps when I load the bike up with luggage and take a trip I will have reason to change this opinion. Still, how will I know if they're any better than stock?

These shocks are as advertised. They are easy to install. I set them up with three adjusting groves showing at the base of each shock. They most definitely lowered the rear by an inch. This is exactly what I was going for, and the reason for my purchase. After riding about 100 miles I found they were still too stiff. I could feel most every bump. I hit a couple of larger pot holes (by accident) and it felt like someone kicked me in the stomach and twisted my back. I weigh about 180 lbs so I'm not a heavyweight. NOT good!. I reset the preset tension while on the road to show no groves, the softest preset, and they are still way to hard. This process was not difficult, but you need strong hands to turn the adjustment. Fortunately my sons were with me and they did the turning. Another three hundred miles and now I'm ready to take them off. I'm very disappointed. I'll be checking with the manufacturer to see if they can be made to ride softer. If not, then these babies must go. They are just too stiff for my taste.

AWESOME, what can I say. The original shocks can not compare to 944 Ultra Low. I'm 5'6" tall and I bought this to give me an additional 1 inch reach to the ground for 2017 HD Street Glide Special. The comfort ryde is superb a d I'm really happy.

I wanted to do 2 things to my 2016 Street Glide Special- lower it and get a more comfortable ride. These shocks lowered my SGS by 1 inch but the ride is only slightly less harsh than stock shocks. Paid $574 but did not meet my expectations or provide the value I wanted.
