Everyones review about this product is accurate. You can not adjust the swivel bit unless you put it on a vice and hammer it. It is near impossible to move.

Used it to adjust shocks on my pioneer1000. Had to grind it a little to fit but its so big and heavy duty that there was lots of metal left. Good tool.
You want it we try it

The wrench worked well on my Rzr 900 shocks. It seems pretty sturdy and odd ready to adjust to you shock size. Word of advice.. take the weight off the set of wheels you're working on. It'll make the adjustment much easier.

Works as intended. Pivot can be stiff at first. Put it in a vice and work it with some penetrating fluid. Overall good buy

To my surprise, this tool is utterly useless for its purported purpose, which is to tighten or loosen the coil-over shock absorbers which are widely used on motorcycle rear suspensions. Made by the Progressive company, these shocks are simple and effective, especially because they can be adjusted or “dialed in” to match the weight of the rider and the terrain to be ridden over. This wrench, which was advertised as a “Progressive” wrench and had the name stamped on it, could not be made to grip the shock to rotate its end as required to adjust it. The tang on the end kept slipping out of the little socket on the shock. I think this was because of the hinge pin that is used on this wrench. After struggling with this device, I looked on line and discovered that the shocks could be adjusted with a big channel lock pliers—no need for a special tool. My shocks are the basic Progressive Model 412. Whoever makes this worthless tool and sells it on Amazon should immediately stop stamping the “Progressive” name on it or billing it as a “Progressive Shock” wrench; that implies it is made by the Progressive Shock company, when in fact no such tool is listed on the shock manufacturer’s on line catalog. If this isn’t fraudulent, it comes close!

Didn't work as received, bite only on one slot. Used Dremel to create another notch on handle side plus added lubricant to free up adjusting arm. Now works pretty good, and has lots of leverage to adjust progressive 412 shocks. Design should be revised.

This worked great to adjust the suspension on my 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570. A lot of folks talk about just using a channel lock to do it, but this didn't make me feel like I was about to break something. There isn't a lot of room to work in there, but I got both wheels done after taking the rear tires off. The complaints about the tightness of the swivel are overdone. I thought it was the right amount of tightness - it wasn't floppy, and I just put the one end in my bench vise and opened it up with light pressure. The photo is mainly to show the fit of the tooth in the suspension collar - it was perfect on the Sportsman.

It's ok works in a pinch but prefer non adjustable exact sizes. It takes twice the time with this wrench

Well, this is a nice tool. Well built and sturdy. But didn't fit the OEM shocks on my '07 Harley Sportster XL1200L. It would probably work perfectly for Progressive shocks. Had to return it. Too bad. I love Progressive's products. Their fork springs gave new life to my Bike. I can't wait until I save-up enough money to get a new set of Progressive shocks for it!

This tool makes adjusting your shocks ridiculously easy. Finally bought one after months of putting it off, thinking how expensive such a simple looking tool cost. Even if you use it only a few times, it's worth having one around, rather than trying to MacGyver some other solution and ultimately putting a gash in your chrome or paint, and leaving marks on your shocks. Used mine on Harley aftermarket shocks.

I picked this up to adjust rear suspension on bikes so I could stop using the old punch and hammer. This is much easier as long as you have room to turn the handle. It has plenty of leverage to turn the adjuster but sometimes is a little tricky to reach into tight places such as sportbike suspensions. I am get happy overall with my purchase.
