Mind you, this is for the gift card. So the extra steps weren't ideal. But in the end, I was very happy with our quilt. My husband passed away last year so I gathered his many t-shirts I couldn't force myself to give away and had a quilt made for my son. They are a very respectable company. They communicate well on every step. The quilt was fabulous and well made. It's hard to send something irreplaceable off to a company but they made me feel that were respectful and competent.

Would probably give it a half star if I could.Put together really weak, with the squares of T shirt off center and with the neckline ribbing still connected. Not pleased

I purchased this as a gift for my son last Christmas. He has a massive t shirt collection from shirt.woot.com spanning15 years! I thought it would be a great way to preserve and display them. He was thrilled. Do to a death in the family I have just recently put my order in and received today. Now the good is the gift card doesn't expire. The bad is when you use the gift card they do not let you combine it with any of their coupons. My advice is to sign up for their emails and wait for a 40% off coupon which come quite regularly. Also you have to pay shipping both ways which ended up being close to $30 for me.Good: It's easy to purchase and prepare your shirts. They have very clear instructions and videos you can watch.Bad: They up charge you for everything, bigger panels, if you want to design the layout yourself and you have no say how it's going to look other then what's on the shirts and the color of the backing.I ordered a twin and it just fits from the edge of the mattress to edge of mattress, no over hang at all so if you want it to hang like a blanket, size up. It's also super thin. While in my case I lucked out and they did an excellent job on the layout there was uneven sewing and puckering and they even placed one of the shirts upside down; you think they would have checked for that.Overall: It really is a poor quality and return on such an expense. I wasn't expecting a high end, hand down , thick quilt back just a decent blanket. This will provide zero warmth. Definitely not worth the $100 price tag + shipping. I could have found someone local for less and kinda of wish I would have. I was planning on ordering a couple of lap blankets but I will be passing now that I see the end result.

Let me start this review by saying my husband is a hoarder and gets sentimentally attached to anything and everything. Which is why when it's time to "get rid of the old" I make sure he's at work or distracted. For years he's held onto his old college shirts and others that no longer fit him. He wasn't even interested in trying to save them for our son to wear when he was older. So I proposed an idea of a t-shirt quilt so he'd get to keep his beloved t-shirts, a soft blanket and preserve the memories attached. I'll admit some of them did hold some special meanings and we ended up including a few of mine and he loved his Christmas gift.I only wish I could have had the option to make a comment on what parts of a few shirts to include and or where to cut.The instructions on how to prepare and ship the t-shirts was very thorough. You wait to receive the gift card in the mail and then with the gift card in hand you go to the site to pick out your quilt and get the directions. I was a bit surprised with the additional shipping & handling cost but it was all well worth it. After following the directions and mailing the t-shirts there was only 1 extra charge to repair a t-shirt (a v-neck had been cut into it) and that was fair enough as well. Again this quilt arrived quicker than I expected, it's a wonderful blanket of memories, super sort and I have one happy husband. Our son is now begging us to ship the company his t-shirts so he too can get his own blanket.

I’ve been wanting to get a T-shirt quilt with all of my old competitive cheer shirts for quite some time. I have looked for the best deal and Project Repat can’t be beat! I couldn’t pass up this amazon deal, so I went for it. The gift card arrived in 2 days (prime shipping) and the instructions are extremely easy to follow. I love that it also includes a prepaid shipping label and bag to send the shirts in. I am going to get right on watching the video on how to send my shirts and then send them off soon. I’ll update with a review of my T-shirt quilt once I receive it!

I have been watching the Project Repat Facebook page for a while now. My daughter is graduating from high school this year and through the years, we've saved t-shirts with this idea in mind; to create a memory blanket. The shirts were piling up and graduating is getting closer. I knew that if I attempted to do a t-shirt quilt project myself, it would end in disaster. They posted some great deals via their Facebook page and I decided to go ahead and do it! These shirts hold really sentimental value and it wasn't easy to send them away; however, the reviews and comments on their Facebook page (and the Made in the USA factor) were so positive that I just did it! The shipping, super quick. The communication, fast and personalized. I cannot wait for my daughter to open this memorable blanket on Christmas and take it to college with her. Thank you Project Repat! What you do is appreciated!
