This device is just the tray portion of a laptop/projector stand. It's nicely made, but for the same price you can easily pick up a similar tray that also comes with it's own full-sized stand. I ended up doing that because I found that this tray didn't fit into my music stands (my fault for thinking they would be compatible). If you have very exact requirements, this could be a good product part for you, but I think there are likely better options out there that require less mixing and matching for your solution.

I love this platform! It makes it easy to move it around if you travel or use it in different rooms. I can keep the remote up there so it doesn't get lost. I'm going to get one of these for my projector at work!I highly recommend these!

For the past few trips we have done a movie night. The hardest part for me is trying to figure out what height and distance the projector needs to be in. This solves both issues, without stacking boxes on chairs or tables.It's super simple to set up it has the added screw for the tripod don't throw it away. I didn't have a screwdriver handy so I screwed it onto the tripod then into the table. Once in it stayed put. It's a simple metal tray with a foam piece, a strap and some zip ties. This is perfect and easy to store in the camper.
