Overview: This is a pair of pre-mounted Trencher HP 2.8" Belted All Terrain Tires. Pro-Line is proud to introduce the History-making Trencher HP 2.8" BELTED All Terrain Truck Tires! Pro-Line has developed the technology to mold a High-Performance herringbone weave pattern Belt inside of the relentless, tall and grippy tread of the Trencher HP. These are not your average belted tires! Made for All Terrain bashing, the Trencher HP 2.8" tires will not balloon or expand during use and will still provide the incredible grip that you expect from Pro-Line tires due to the soft M2 compound. Just like all Pro-Line's tires, they are proudly Made in the USA! Just like the original Trencher 2.8" tire, the next generation Trencher HP 2.8" is destined to become the ultimate, go-to Bash tire for your truck! Please note that the Trencher HP tires are not meant to be extreme speed run tires and have achieved up to 75 mph or about 5,000 RPM under ideal conditions in testing. Over revving your Trencher HP tires could result in breaking the internal belt, which will NOT be covered under warranty. This can be caused by "diffing out" your tires or holding the throttle open while one, two or three of your tires are stopped, which substantially increases the RPM sent to the free-spinning tire or tires. The Belted Trencher HP 2.8" tires come Pre-Mounted on the next generation 2.8" wheel design from Pro-Line, the Raid 2.8" Removable Hex Wheel! Imagine being able to easily change the offset of your wheel to fit different applications by simply changing out the hex! You can go from the included 12mm narrow offset (2wd Stampede®/Rustler® Rear) to the included 12mm wide offset hexes (2wd Stampede®/Rustler® Front and 4x4 Stampede®/Rustler® Front and Rear) quickly and easily

I only received 2 tires. I assumed for this price I would have at least 4. It's not even mentioned that there is only 2 tires. Who buy only 2 tires anyway? I'm very disappointed.

Recently became a proline fan. Love the interchangeable hubs. These belted tires do not balloon one bit. As other reviews state and known in rc world belted tires are heavy. Had to limit offset to mitigate stress on drive axles and bearings which make more susceptible to roll overs but found a good width to compromise. Only real issue I have is on road, I cannot keep truck stable over 35-40mph. Starts drifting away and difficult to control. Tried about everything I know of. Adjust suspension, camber, toe-in, gyro control… Off road these tires are beasts and likely where they belong.

Trenchers have always been the best bashing tire, I used to apply duct tape to the insides to prevent ballooning at very high speeds. That worked ok until the tires got wet and the tape came loose. Belted trenchers is like a dream come true for over powered rc enthusiasts. Sick traction, great durability, amazing stability from the belts. Win/win

They fit awesome on my Rustler 4x4, they do weigh a lot compared to the stock tires. Thus far that hasn't been a problem. But I've only driven around the street a bit so far and jumped a speed bump, I do expect that the plastic drive shafts might not last long with them. The lack of ballooning makes them awesome at high speed runs down the street with a 3S and 4kV motor running 17t and 54t.

I blew out two of my stock Rustler tires and figured I'd try something belted to avoid that again. I really love these Trenchers. The car looks more aggressive and handles a bit better because they are so much wider than stock. They are pretty heavy and taller than stock tires so you definitely need to gear down. I also found the car to be more responsive after upgrading the servo but the stock one is acceptable, just a bit sluggish.

Put these 2.8" belted Trenchers on my heavily modified Traxxas Slash 2wd VXL running a 3 cell lipo. These replaced a set of completely worn out set of Proline 2.8" Mashers with Badland wheels. The Proline Mashers lasted about 4 years. Stock traxxas tires were destroyed within days. The Mashers would balloon into pizza cutters at high speeds/rpm (also added extra speed as they got larger) but lost traction. Mashers were an excellent off road tire. Sand and snow were epic.I do like how these belted Trenchers don't balloon. No stretch. The wheels are awesome. I like how I can change out a stripped hex without buying a new tires and wheels. These wheels are very heavy though. I upgraded the driveshafts to help (the steering servo and bell crank might need upgrades as well. Time will tell).Excellent traction on take off since they don't balloon/stretch. I had to adjust the slipper clutch to compensate.I can update durability with time. Hopefully, they last as long as my Mashers. They are showing a little bit of wear (rear wheels) after a few runs on asphalt. These were very expensive and I will update after some time if these are a good value for money.
