Our old fan was loud and didn’t push any air. This one has been such a welcome change. It is very quiet, the light is bright, and it’s pushes enough air for us to be comfortable in our bedroom at night. Also, the instructions said it would take 2.5 hrs to install, but with my husband and I working together it took less than 30 minutes.

I goofed when I bought this fan. I could have sworn I ordered a smaller one. This is way too much fan for a 9 by 12 room. When it arrived, I realized it was too big but that I had goofed. I opened the box and decided it looked pretty good, so I decided to install. It's quiet and doesn't act up, and was relatively easy for a handyman / non-electrician to install. I just don't run it at full speed, as it get's too windy for my liking.

This appears to be a good fan. It is quiet and stable. Did not need any balance weights. It did say to hook it up with power to the fan and light and use the pull chains to control it but I had the wiring there to use two switches so that we can turn the light or the fan on from the wall switch. Still able to control speed with pull chain. Does not have a remote and I did not want one anyway.

I bought this for my kids bedroom and it showed up as expected. Install was straight forward, it came with extra screws and washers which is nice incase one is missing or you drop one.Pros:-Extra hardware.-Didn't have to add any eight to balance, it's fine out of the box.-Comes with everything you need to out it up.Cons:-The light color side of the fan blades, that we wanted had a ripple in the faux wood veneer so we had to use the dark side.-it dosent take a regular light bulb, it's like a mini bulb-the light only takes the one bulb and isn't the brightest.Over all, can't complain at the price. I just hope it stays quiet as others said they have gotten loud.

I was a little concerned about purchasing another inexpensive unknown brand. More often than not that's where you get the noise and balance issues. After all, making all the pieces the right way costs money. But the reviews were mostly positive, so I took a chance. I removed the cheap piece of junk someone else installed and put this up. I chose the brushed Nickel because all of the hardware the builder used in the house is brushed nickel. Oddly enough, the fan was plain white. It was a standard down rod on an 8-foot ceiling and was only 42 inches installed in the family room. The motor was noisy, and the whole thing was horribly out of balance! This fan is the proper size, model, and color. It looks like it belongs in this room! But the real test was turning it on. There is a very slight hum if you really listen for it, but it's barely audible. You'd never hear it if you weren't listening for it. Perfect! Pulll the chain to put it on high and the chain barely moves. You're not going to get much better than that. Bonus, they included a balance kit. The light and fan are on separate switches, so I don't need a pull chain for the light. The lip above the light kit is hollow. I was able to lay that chain and the balance kit in that lip. They are completely hidden yet stored with the fan. My only question is why didn't I do this when I moved in 3.5 years ago? I finally got around to upgrading the door locks too. Those were an el-cheapo mixture of polished brass and antique bronze. It was a HUD home, so the realtor replaced those with whatever they had lying around. Now everything matches and is big step up in quality and performance. Now I'm thinking the previous owners likely busted the fan that was in that room and the realtor had this other piece of junk hung there. That makes sense.
