I recently purchased the asXpert Propane Hose (5FT) to connect my portable grill to a standard 20lb propane tank, and it has proven to be a reliable and convenient solution. Here’s my detailed experience with the product:Quality and Durability:The hose feels sturdy and well-constructed, with high-quality materials that inspire confidence in its durability. The fittings are solid and ensure a secure, leak-free connection to both the 20lb tank and the smaller propane appliance.Ease of Use:The adapter is straightforward to install. It connected seamlessly to both my Weber portable grill and my propane tank without any tools. The 5-foot length provides ample flexibility, allowing the tank to be positioned safely away from the appliance while maintaining convenience.Performance:The hose works perfectly, providing a steady flow of propane without any interruptions. I’ve used it for several grilling sessions, and it has performed flawlessly every time. Transitioning from small 1lb propane bottles to a 20lb tank has been a game-changer in terms of convenience and cost-effectiveness.Compatibility:This propane adapter is highly versatile, working perfectly with various appliances like grills, stoves, and heaters. It’s ideal for outdoor cooking setups or extended camping trips.Room for Improvement:The hose is excellent, but it would be even better if it came with a carrying case or storage strap to keep it neatly coiled when not in use.Overall:The asXpert Propane Hose is a fantastic product for anyone looking to connect portable propane appliances to larger tanks. It’s durable, easy to use, and highly functional. Whether for grilling, camping, or other propane-powered activities, this hose is a reliable choice.

I have a Heater Buddy heater. It works great but goes through the green canisters of propane pretty quickly. After purchasing this hose, I now attach it to a 20 lbs propane tank and I am able to use the heater for much longer thus saving me money. Good quality hose.

I didn't know what to expect. You see all these bad / negative reviews on this or other hoses, and they scare you away.... I said "forget it, I am buying this one because it looks cool as well as what I need" lol... Well, I made a good choice. For the price it's a great deal too, it functions EXACTLY like what I need, super easy to install / use, fits perfectly, and connects without issue. The hose is grade A quality, and the connections are crimped / sealed properly and do not leak. No explosions here!

These are a great alternative to constantly buying one-pound tanks. After the initial cost of the hose and tank, you will easily recoup your money. A 10 Lb. tank will take about the same area as two one-pounders.There are some areas of the steel braiding that took some abuse before I received it. The assembly and integrity of the hose and fittings are fine so far. The crimping is well done and this is an excellent alternative to constantly buying smaller tanks. It's also less waste not having to dispose of those tanks.

I've been using a rubber propane hose and I didn't like how it eventually started to feel a bit sticky and I was worried with all the weird twists the hose ends up doing when screwing it in and out, that it could affect the hose. I upgrade to this metal braided hose and wow the quality is a word of difference. The braid is very high quality and ensures peace of mind that it could take a beating. I believe the inner hose is still a rubber component, which makes sense. This connects to my buddy heater which is why I primarily got it. One thing that the product page did not explain is if you still need to use a buddy heater filter when using it, so I do recommend you still using it since the inner housing is still rubber and that's what the filter is suppose to filter out.
