Most of the time, the thing you need is he big seal around the top of the cylinder. It is not in this kit!

Bought another product with replacement trigger. Neither kit has labels for the o-rings but both included the same diagram. After some trial and error I was able to put the correct seal in the correct location and nail gun now operates as it should. Took off a star for no labels as some of the o rings are really close in size and when the original seal was almost dissolved in the nailer finding which o-ring to use was challenging.

Item is listed as a universal kit that includes the D51822. The package I received had number D51844 on it. This kit did not include the correct o-rings to replace the broken ones on a D51822. I had to return it and order each o-ring that I needed from a parts repair website.

I purchased the kit for a Dewalt D51823 nail gun, the kit contain a good selection of seals, however the dimensions of the two urethane seals in the kit did not match the damaged one removed from the gun. There was a seal which was very close to the dimensions required but was not the correct material. The schematic does not provide great information, it gives reference numbers but none of the supplied seals are identified. Quite sure it will suit some buyer, however I prefer to fit “like for like” materials and not deviate from the manufacturers specification unless it has an upgraded seal to provide longer life and durability.

I replaced trigger valve and my nailer kept leaking. I decided to buy this kit and give it a shot. To my surprise it resolved my issues with my nailer. All is well now, saved my self a lot of money and I get to continue to enjoy using this tool.

When I pulled out my nail gun after 2 years of not using it.... it sounded as if it had no seals in it at all. When I pulled it apart some of the O rings were no more than jelly. This set supplied all the O rings needed to completely replace all the O rings and get my gun back in action again. The illustration supplied was a pleasant surprise and was definitely a big help in reassembly.
