About this item

  • FIRE RESISTANT PANTS: These tactical pants for men provide flame resistant protection and visibility combined. Worn by Wildland firefighters to protect against heat and flash fire.
  • SAFETY CERTIFIED: Cargo pant is made of specialty fabrics selected for optimum performance. Sage color uses Westex Synergy, made of 100% nomex IIIA. Station Navy color uses Synergy Pro, the next evolution of Aramid from Westex and offers soft comfort. Both are UL certified to NFPA 1975 (2019 ed.) and 1977 (2016 ed.) and sewn to military specification 5100-92 JAN 2010.
  • MOISTURE WICKING: Fire retardant pant offers superior moisture management due to proprietary quick dry technology that spreads moisture for improved evaporation.
  • HIGHLY DURABLE: Fireman pants have excellent durability, resistance to abrasions and tears, pleated knees, and heavy duty bar-tack reinforcement in all stress areas.
  • SMART DESIGN: Pants have extra deep front slash pockets, and a button self-locking Nomex zipper fly closure with internal storm flap. Machine wash without its green color fading, as its colorfastness will withstand multiple industrial laundries.

The Propper® Wildland Pant is certified for use by the USDA Forest Service and made of Synergy® fabric, a blend of Nomex®, Kevlar and anti-static fibers. Nomex® is an inherently flame-resistant fiber and has been a leader in heat and flame protection for more than 45 years.

A little baggy but great quality and it meets certifications including cal/osha if you're a new to wildland firefighting or a seasoned vet these are your pants

I love these pants.. I own 3 pairs and have recently worn them on wildland fires for 3, 14 day assignments and never had a problem. I like that the waist is adjustable. They wash well too.

I realize these can be worn with lots of garments underneath; however, WOW! That's a lot of extra room. These run very big and the material is a lot thinner than I expected.

Overall great quality fire pant extremely comfortable. but I'm am so displeased with the sizing. I wear a size 30' waist and I purchased the small short pants size from looking at the given size guide. When they arrived I tried them on and could probably fit an additional watermelon between my stomach and the waistband... extremely unhappy with this.

Bought these as a hired vendor for cal fire / forestry. I’ve had them inspect by both and they have meet all requirements. The fit is honestly awful so I would suggest doing the try before you buy and sending back what doesn’t fit. I needed an XL Long and I’m normally a 40x36 in jeans if that helps anyone. Shipping took a while so keep that in mind if ordering in a rush. They are easy to clean and don’t hold stains any worst or better than anything else. Overall the product for the price is pretty fair.

The sizes are pretty far off, I typically would wear a size large, but in these I'm wearing a small?!? Haha, I ordered large, then medium, then small.. small somewhat fits, I tried extra small and the waste was just a little bit too tight, length and bagginess was good but waist too tight so I decided to stick with the size small I had ordered before (I still had them waiting to see how the x small fit).To give reference, I am 5'11, I weigh 175 lbs, I typically wear a size 33 waist in jeans. The small in these is actually still a little big (more like a 34 waist?) But they work since you can tighten the sides of them with the built in buckles and also we will be wearing a belt with these pants in the wildland setting anyway, also if worn in cold weather with thermals it will take up a little space as well.Good luck hope this helped.

They're fire gear/. They are marginally comfortable and very rugged. They protect me from hot stuff. What else is there to say. If you buy the game size you normally were instead of adding little to get them over normal pants you'll be fine.
