The second I put this thing on my bed, it turned my bed into a humid, damp nightmare. Even when no one has been in bed all day, my partner and I climb in only for the sheets to feel clammy and disgusting. This thing traps so much heat it’s insane, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who sleeps even mildly hot.

In our case, the Allerzip mattress encasement and pillow covers only lasts 3 years before they need replacement. We don't wash it because despite of using gentle cycle and cold water and line drying they will disintegrate. Then we need to open the case with customer support and wait for the delivery of a new one. In the meantime the mattress is unprotected which puts at risk the mattress warranty.Otherwise the installation and feel are good.
