This case has amazing protection on the back. Also, around the back of the controls. I sometimes feel concerned with the front of the Portal though. I think there is a little too much exposure. The biggest con is the kickstand. This has so much potential, but it doesn’t work. Most the time when fully extended the Portal just falls down. A very flimsy kickstand. I am very disappointed in this part.

This case fits the portal well except where it slips around the controller handles. It easily flaps off right there. No grip to the case unless your hands are already moist, so I've had to order silicone grip pieces to try and hold it properly. Doesn't cover the lights, which is nice. The kick stand on the back is ridiculous, though. Not worth the hassle of trying to extend the piece just to set it down. As the portal has no Bluetooth, no external controller can be used, therefore the kickstand is kinda pointless in the end.Update: I got the grips in. Compare my images to this of the item. Anywhere around the handles that looks like it has a pattern - that is the silicone pieces. Don't and back images.Overall, this additional purchase of the grips not only helped solidify keeping the case on the Portal, but it also gave it great grip, which was very much missing beforehand.
