I purchased this item last year and was very pleased. It had velcro openings on oposite sides, which made it easy to put on and take off, fleece lined, and a tight closure around the heater pole. The one I received today has only ONE velcro opening, , NO fleece lining, no way to tightly close it around the heater pole (to keep out the Carolina wrens), and the vinyl is not the same quality as the previous one. It is marked PCI and model 2238, but it is simply not the same cover as I purchased before. I am returning this one.

This is for the TOP only.The leading picture for this item clearly displays a pair of covers, one for the top and one for the bottom. At this price, that is reasonable. But upon receipt I see only the top. I regard this as deceptive advertising, hence a three-star deduction. When a full-patio-heater cover can be purchased for this price, the moral burden is on the seller to clarify what is being shipped. Granted, the moral burden is on me for failing to read the entire title of this item (which does say 'top'), hence two stars. Yet when pictures do not match words, who is at fault? I will update this review as needed.

I got this cover to replace the 5 year old one that originally came with my patio heater... The original cover was stiff and thin, with a plastic zipper that was awkward and difficult to use, from the beginning. It eventually got really raggedy, tore up, and became un-useable, even though my deck is covered, so it was less exposed to the elements. When this replacement cover arrived I was very impressed with the quality, it's a lot thicker, and more pliable than the original cover. Additionally, it has a very strong, Velcro opening and closure point, on either side of the cover, that makes it easy to remove and put on. I love this product, and would give it 6 stars, if I could! I've never had a bottom cover for my patio heater, but I'm definitely considering purchasing the bottom one, because the top one is so fabulous, to protect my investment even more...

OK. I admit it was my fault for not reading the entire page. From the title and the picture; "Protective Covers Weatherproof Cover for Outdoor Heater", I thought it was for both the top cover and the bottom cover. One picture shows both top and bottom. When comparing to other top covers, it's at twice the price so I thought the purchase was for both top and bottom covers. When I received the package it only included the top. From what I received however the top cover does look sturdy. Why I rated it a two star? ... I took one star away for each of the following; 1: showing a deceptive description and picture, 2: for a top cover that is overly priced at twice the amount, 3: for not having the matching bottom available for sale. Even if that was the case, I would end up spending $70 for a top and bottom cover. Now that's crazy being close to half the price of the patio heater itself! So that's it ... 2 stars because of the decent quality that leaves me without a bottom cover at a high cost of $33 and questionable item title/description. After having this for a couple of months, I had to discontinue it use. It becomes a wind sail and tips over the patio heater. No once, not twice, not three times, but many times. If there's a slight gust of wing, it going down. Did a lot of damage to the heater reflector and bent the neck area. Ever since I took the cover off, the heater never once tipped over, even in high winds. Lesson learned.

My commercial style patio heater (PrimeGlo HLB-2650-SS) has a 38 inch reflector. This cover fits it perfectly and keeps out rain, dust and leaves. Velcro strips are provided on opposite sides to make covering and uncovering easy. I find it necessary to lean the heater over a chair with its base resting against the hot tub when covering or uncovering. Unfortunately, when the cover is in place, the heater takes on a Darth Vader kind of menace, but that is a small price to pay for extending the life of the heater.
