My fault for not realizing this was only for a single glove worn under my mitt, however, it does offer extra protection for those hard throws home. fits a bit snug but any larger and it wouldn't fit with my mitt.

This glove works great and you'll not get a sting to your hand. Kind of expensive, though. But they work great and you can hear a great "pop" when the ball hits the glove but you feel nothing!

Bought for teenage son, he really likes them. Great fit and comfort. Feel like they are put together well so they shouldn't be falling apart right away. He actually just finished a spring season of high school ball using these gloves for most of that season and they're still in good shape.

I have my softball glove from when I was a kid - and am now an adult playing on a co-ed league. My glove has seen better days, in terms of having the appropriate padding, but it's broken in perfectly and I wanted to continue using it. I bought this hoping it would allow me to absorb the impact of fielding and catching and it does! I'd highly recommend it.Additionally, it's a great fitting glove, and the leather is soft and smooth and very comfortable to wear.

I was nervous at first to order but I had to do something. I was catching for teens who are throwing in the 55-70 mph range and my hand was taking a beating. I tried using a batting glove but I couldn't catch well - kept popping out. I tried this and it worked perfect. I stopped feeling the impact of every pitch. I would recommend to anyone catching and has a problem with pain in that area of the hand.

I continue to buy this product every year or so when the old glove wears out. It works great as my fielding glove is many years old and has lost most of its padding. The Palmgard glove allows me to continue using the glove I know and love while having the extra padding that is desired. This glove isn't just for catchers. I use it in the infield and outfield.

I use the Palmgard protective glove every time I put my mitt on. I originally got it to make up for the deficiencies of my 20 year old mitt that had seen several years of heavy use. Even though it only gets used for slow-pitch softball these days, it is still nice to not walk away from Wednesday nights with a bruised palm. If you have an older, broken-down mitt that you just can't bring yourself to part with, this is a good product to help prolong its lifespan.
