These pots are SO easy to overheat. For some reason PRS owners seem to think they should put these in their guitars instead of CTS. Just get CTS

The weight of a soldered wire causes the potentiometer tabs to move laterally. I had to put insulators between them to prevent them from shorting to one another.This would never happen with a Switchcraft pot. Spend a little more money and get the quality stuff; don’t buy this one.

Yeah, I expect PERFECT resistance (ie 500k) on ANY PRS item . . I hooked up a brand new Multimeter to these and they came back at 470k . . not cool
