A great find! This was hard to find but works as expected. Be sure to give the attachment clips a bit of an extra "crimp" with pliers to hold in place when you slide the element into holes in back of oven. Mine popped off on one end and was a bit tricky finding the wire in back of oven. I didn't even know it had slipped off until I realized the element wasn't heating up.

My oven is over 35 years old, and I still really like it, and it keeps working. I don't want to upgrade. When my oven bake element went out, I thought I might have to go out and buy all new kitchen appliances. Luckily, I found this element on amazon!!! It arrived within 3 days. It was very protected with bubble wrap that took about 15 minutes to get it all off of the element...it was shrink wrapped. Once the wrap was off, and with some squeezing and a little adjusting, my husband put the bake element in pretty quickly. It did not come with new screws, so make sure you keep the ones you have. Voila...back to baking and making dinners. Thank you.

The bake element on my Whirlpool burned through and snapped apart. Went to Whirlpool site for the part number and thankfully there was a cheaper option here (with a reasonable shipping fee, to boot). This part doesn't quite match the same in the back plates or the original; this has an elongated ovalish hole for the screw. (The original Whirlpool bake element's plate has a hole of a size to fit the screw exactly. I prefer that perfect fit so spills and grime don't get trapped behind the larger gaping hole.)The package arrived as promised. Despite simple, no-frills packing (meaning, no bubble wrapping or any cushioning material or padding; it was simply the outer cardboard box and the unit inside), the unit was undamaged. (Truthfully, I was bracing myself to see a mangled mess, as packages often arrive like they've been put through a monster truck rally.) And I didn't notice any distinct flaws either (albeit a casual exam).It was fairly easy to install, with the trickiest issue in finding the proper screwdriver with a square head (that's more particular to the original appliance than this replacement part). (Did consult youtube video clips for backup reference, though not critically necessary despite no instruction sheet provided - or even on the seller's website.)Bottom line, the bake element is working perfectly. And unless I'm imagining or recalling poorly, I dare say the element may be heating more efficiently (which isn't surprising as the original bake element is decades old and might have been performing on its last legs for some time).This product has a 1-year warranty. Hope I won't have to submit a claim for it.

Arrived the next day as expected, though the box could have used better padding for the unit itself. One of the electrical connector tabs was bent. I was able to just straighten it right out with pliers though, so it was fine. Otherwise in perfect condition and installation is a breeze with these things. Only takes a minute or two tops to replace. Just make sure you don't lose the wires back inside the oven wall ;) and it's super easy.

When I opened the box there was craft paper laid over one side of the bake element. When I removed the element from the box it was warped out of shape and one of the connecting tabs was bent at a 45-degree angle. I gently re-bent the element close to its original shape and straightened the connecting tab. I installed the element in the oven and turned it on. The oven came to temperature quickly and held temperature well. My concern in having to reshape the element it may have caused a weak point which could cause the element to fail prematurely. As of now the element is working well. Packaging for these elements should be improved. I would suggest shrink wrapping the element to a piece of cardboard, so it cannot bounce around in the box while shipping.

I bought this heating element to replace the one that finally self destructed in our trusty 36 year old Frigidaire range. It was a perfect fit and was very easy to install. The range is so old, I could not find the model number listed anywhere on the web, so I looked through the available heating elements until I found one that was the right shape.The dimensions listed on the Amazon site were very helpful because they allowed me to verify this was the exact same size as the original one. I also verified the wattage was the same by looking at the wiring schematic that was on the back of the oven. I removed the back panel of the oven to gain easier access to the wires, but that probably isn't completely necessary; it's just the way I chose to do the job. This replacement element works perfectly. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
