the disc sands very well, but has no adhesiveness. After it came off several times, I had to use an external adhesive to fix it to the disc.

Day after I affixed the new pad to the metal disc on my sanding station the pad began to come loose. I applied additional pressure with negative results. I removed and discarded the sanding pad, cleaned the metal disc and applied the second pad. So far, 24 hours, seems to be holding. Have never had issues with Craftsman brand discs.

Hegebeck PSA Sanding DiscsThis 80 grit- 9 in disc sanding paper performs like a pro. I placed the disc on my larger disc sander to strip the paint and sand on a project. The coarse paper got down to business, effortlessly striping the surfaces clean without indentations. The paper is durable, the 80 grit is coated thick, and the back adheres well to the sanding pad. The sandpaper can be used on common materials such as wood, plastic, metals, and fiberglass. There are no vent or support holes in this paper. Good value for five.

These pads fit on a 9 inch orbital sander with self-adhesive. As they are 80 grit, they are meant to do a lot of the heavy lifting on the start of the project to shave off those harder surface materials. The length that they last are directly related to the material that you are using to sand down. While it is convenient to buy the prefabricated pads, you could most certainly get them cheaper if you cut them yourself. That being said, the value is decent for what you get at $1.70 a pad
