Will not go on my tractor pto shaft, junk

I had to use a hammer to slightly tap it on to get it to even slide off and maybe it’s partially my own fault for not spraying with wd-40 or something first but now I have it on the tractor and it is just way too tight to remove it….; I wanted it to use because it was easier to have the extra length removing the PTO and also because I bought a logging winch and the pto that i got with it was a little shorter than what i needed because it was 2nd hand and i bought it used; the person I purchased it from had an older and different model tractor and it fit on his but the pto shaft was barely able to touch each other and I figured instead of buying a brand new pto shaft that this would give me the extra 4+ inches I needed to use the same pto shaft i got with the logging winch and that does now give it the extra length but with winter coming; I need to change to my pto operated snowblower but can’t get the new extension off because of how tight it is and it is not something you should have to be trying to use a hammer to take back off and it should have been a sign when i needed to use hammer to tap it on straight but it’s an entire different scenario of tapping with hammer straight in gently to having to start tapping on the side of the extension hoping it’ll come back off because the pto shaft on my snowblower is already cut to proper length to be used without this extension….; anyways, i just think it should be made so it can slide off and on easily with just pushing the pin on it and it certainly doesn’t do that…; will update this review if it gets better but fingers crossed I don’t end up damaging my tractor pto by the time i get this removed if that is even possible…., might be a lot more costly in repair or removal costs if something breaks just trying to remove it…. The pin itself is the whole idea of being able to slide off and on easily and that not happening just defeats the purpose of having it….; worst case scenario is I may need to cut my snowblower pto shaft shorter to allow it to fit with this still on there but it certainly should be able to be taken off if you want it off…, not very impressed at the moment

The fit was too tight, and I was worried it might get stuck and lock in place, so I decided to return it. It might have worked with some grinding, but I didn’t want to go through the hassle.
