The dish looks nice and is very thick. I *may* have (ok, definitely did) accidentally dropped it (while it was still in the box) from about 4 feet, and it survived fully intact! Definitely durable in that respect! It looks nice with the gold edging and lettering. It can hold a decent amount of jewelry. It's not meant for super storage, but it can hold the amount of rings and daily jewelry a person typically wears.It'll make a great gift and is a good value for what you get. I am a little hesitant about long term durability, because the lettering is printed above the glaze, so it may wear over time. It's not super easy to take off, but I think it will eventually wear, which is why I deducted 1 star.

I got this for my daughter, this is her nickname. I know it's meant for someone's grandmother, but it still works, because she's my everything. She really loves it. She uses the dish every day for her keys and jewelry. It's beautiful and well made, a great little way to tell someone how much you love them. The size is large enough for several rings and your car keys. It's a great value for the money.
