First of all the seller did a great job with shipping. Timely and well packaged, no issues. I bought this for my 2009 model to replace the stock windscreen that I felt was too small. Now for the product itself. The best way I can describe it is that the idea and intention are good, but the product itself is mediocre at best. The windscreen is almost half the thickness of the OEM unit at the mounting points and this is a problem when mounting it. The instructions (which are not very detailed) tell you to use the OEM mounting hardware but because the OEM screws are designed (with stops) to fit the OEM plastic, the Puig unit is loose and rattles due to the difference in thickness versus OEM. I had to shim it with nylon washers to make it work. In addition, the one I got is warped and one side of the top of the screen curls in more than the other. When riding, the screen flexes a lot and doesn’t seem stable or very strong. As far as wind protection and design, it works very well. I’m 5’11” and the unit provides very good wind protection and reduced noise versus my original windshield, so at least it has that going for it.If you buy this windshield plan on making a trip to the hardware store for additional stuff to make it work. Like I said in the beginning, great idea....marginal quality.

Amazon dropped it at the door in less than two days. I have used a Cee Baily light smoke Ultra Tour Dome for over 40 k miles. First thing I noticed is that the light smoke tint on the Puig is much darker. I also noticed that the material is much thinner and the screen is lighter. Now for what I think could be the bad part. The screen flexes a lot you and you can grab both sides of the top and bend the two edges towards each other it's that flexible. Some might call it flimsy. The Cee Baily does not flex like this. On a quick buzz on the slab, I noticed the screen twists and flexes. Not sure I like that? It is more concave at the top, but is about the same size as the Ultra Tour. I can see how that make push the air a bit higher. It was a bit windy on the ride, but that flexing has me worrying. The comparable Cee Bailey costs about 50 bucks more, and is manufactured from 1/4" aircraft grade acrylic. The Puig is also made from acrylic but it's 1/8" thick. Because it's half as thick it flexes as I mentioned. Is it so thin it will break? I doubt it. On the plus side, it fits well, was easy to install and looks good.
