I bought four of them to replace the original ones on my trash pumps. Works great. I wish they sold them in red but not a deal breaker at all. I would buy again.

The first 20 or so pulls work great, but now it doesn't retract all the way. It leaves around 2" of rope hanging out sometimes.

luckily, i knew how to fix this, but the string broke after ten pulls. even my teen had a 'what the heck?' moment. We were just trying to get the splitter running for firewood. frustrating. works once i fixed it.

Put the pull start on a predator 212 engine, installed on a go-kart, absolutely perfect for what I needed, no adjustments, no hassles, slipped right on installed bolts which aligned perfectly, and worked like new!
