The adapter is great, fits perfect. The box was damaged and missing a bunch of parts, including the front brass washers that are expensive to replace. Pullman, aka pullrite does not sell through Amazon, although that’s who Amazon says to contact for questions regarding the adapter. So I ended up spending more money to replace the parts that were lost in shipping because the only option I was given was to return it and i couldn’t wait for a replacement.

The product was in good condition, but the packaging was pretty beat up on arrival. The main issue was the instructions were torn up and I had to piece them together. Otherwise everything went smoothly.

It fit the puck system nicely but when you adjust per instructions and start from a stopped position with the trailer attached the front of the rails can raise about 1/16 inch and the hitch can raise the same. Had to add washers around the posts inside the fore and aft rails to contact the cross pins and got a hitch mounting shim kit from Pullrite to reduce the hitch movement on the cross rails. All good now!

Returned this because it did not fit my new Ram 2500, which had factory 5th wheel prep. Entirely different attachment set up. I ended up buying MOPAR’s bracket which is awesome and sturdy.

This is a must if you ave a Ram pickup with the puck system, works great, I have a 2017 3500 with a pullrite super slide 5 th wheel my pullrite was mounted in a gmc short bed so it wouldn’t bolt directly to my bed in the ram, this adapter lets you mount. Your 5 th wheel to the new design, really like it, easy in and out ( with help )

traded truck to 2018 dodge ram with the puck mounting system.do we buy new fifth wheel assembly or go with this ? new fifth wheel would be nice,but twice as much and hard for one person to install and remove.bought this system. works great ! real easy for one person to do. no tools needed. only negative side is you have many parts and pins to keep track of. bought a small tool bag to put parts in. no rattle while pulling 30 foot fifth wheel. very happy with this system.

The adapter fit the four factory installed hitch points. No welding needed - just insert with a quarter twist. The bars then hold the pins in place. I dropped it down a star because I had to lightly pound one of the pins into the hole. My guess is that this was a manufacturing quality issue with the hole size in the Ram 3500 frame but just speculating. I did try other pins in that hole and they were all tight and all the pins fit easily in the hole holes in the Ram bed. In any case I got all 4 pins in place.I then tested the adapter with a PullRite 2900 sliding hitch to make sure it fit the adapter before I bought the hitch from a Craiglist person. The 2900 sliding hitch fit perfectly and it was a breeze to put on the hitch (with 2 people).I would have given this 5 stars except for the problem with one pin being a very tight fit.

Bought a new Ram 2500 with 5th wheel Prep. Pin configuration is only good for Ram Products. If you have a short bed and you do not want to fool with manual release hitches get a hitch with auto slide. Pull Rite works well but you need a adaptor plate for the pin box on the 5th wheel, and a adaptor for the Truck. Pull Rite will not just drop into a Ram short bed you need an adapter kit between the truck bed and the hitch. Someone needs to standardize the pin configurations!! The adaptor will let you position the hitch where you need it to make a 90 Degree turn, and clear the cab.
