Adjustable impact-force settings (Lo/Hi) can be used for various cable termination applications. If after used a while the entry of the blaze is loose, you can use the impact- force settings to adjust it. (This also means that when it is not loose, the setting is not adjustable.)

Don't buy the kind you see with the scissors tip. They work terribly and I bought this to replace that kind in my set.

It's a good tool with a diesel cutting head but I would suggest filing it a little sharper

The spare blade retainer didn't hold the blade. I took the tool out of the package and the blade fell out and hit the floor.
