Very sore after the first few days of breast feeding. Applied this throughout the day and it really helps the healing process.Only downfall is that it is really sticky.

This stuff is excellent for extremely dry, chapped skin! I tend to get very dry patches on my fingertips and between my fingers and lanolin always does the trick for helping these go away. As most lanolin is, the consistency is very thick and sticky. While I wouldn't recommend it as a general moisturizer unless you're wearing gloves, it is perfect for treating specific dry spots. As for scent, in comparison to other lanolins, this one is almost scentless. However, if you've never tried any types of lanolin before, be aware that this does have a light, musky scent. It's not very strong and isn't unpleasant to me, but it may be off-putting to some. Finally, I like that this comes in a metal tin instead of a plastic container. This could be easily reused for other products when you're done!My main con on this is that the tin is very small for the price ($12 for less than 1 ounce). This may still be a good option if you don't anticipate needing large quantities of it or are sensitive to smell. Again, this one is almost scentless and most other lanolins that I've tried have had very strong scents.Overall, if you haven't tried lanolin, it's the best thing for extremely dry or chapped skin! While this particular one is expensive, it isn't anywhere near as strongly scented as other lanolins and works just as well.

Living in Colorado is hard on your skin, the lack of humidity causes all kinds of skin problems. My feet and hands were especially hard hit with my skin cracking in the heels. I’ve been looking for a natural solution to help and the lanolin worked brilliantly at healing my hands and feet. It’s something I didn’t know I needed, and now I can’t stop telling everyone. I originally bought this for my sister who is breastfeeding and her husband who suffers from really bad eczema on his hands, but then I got sunburned and used it on myself instead!It works wonders! I totally spaced on spf one morning and unfortunately got burned. The photos are 3 days apart and 4 applications (morning and night the first day and just morning the next two days). I had zero pain, slept well and the sunburn faded quickly!I LOVE that it’s sustainable and natural since I try my best to live a natural, nontoxic lifestyle. There’s no scent and no residue left behind. Great product!

I had an allergic reaction to some makeup. I needed a way to keep my face moisturized. This lanolin is great stuff! It has no smell. Yes, it is sticky, but if you use only a bit it will spread easily and keep the skin moist. I will definitely keep a tin of this on hand. Oh, and the tin is easy to open and close.
