About this item

  • The Pure Tone design features two springs for both the tip connection, a spring for the ring, and an additional spring for the shield connection
  • These help to secure the plug into place and create a greater surface area connection at contact points to improve stability and signal integrity
  • No more noise crackle caused by pressure grounds!
  • The Stereo Pure Tone jack contains dual rings for optimal signal and lowest possible noise

Pure Tone has developed a high quality 1/4" three pole (stereo) jack using a new patented design that improves upon and offers a more reliable connection than standard 1/4" jacks. The Pure Tone design features two springs for both the tip connection, a spring for the ring, and an additional spring for the shield connection. These help to secure the plug into place and create a greater surface area connection at contact points to improve stability and signal integrity. These jacks also increase the current capability of 1/4" connections.

Installed in my Sire MM V7 after some Switchcraft-style jacks kept failing. The tip grip is perfect, no scratchy sounds when moving the cable. Installation is the same as any other jack. Recommended as an overall upgrade for any stereo jack-equipped instrument.

I got the stereo and wired it mono in my stratocaster. Good documentation on the company website, Zero instructions included in my packaging. I guess if you know you know, otherwise look it up on their online site. Found many helpful videos on youtube. Much more surface area in contact with cable end. If you do your job with sheilding and soldering, it will be quiet and serve for years.

Only reason for four stars is no English instructions. Instructions were in Chinese. I used a multimeter to figure out which connections I needed, this is a stereo jack, but will work for a mono output if you use the correct connection tabs.

Tried it out on a guitar upgrade project and couldn't be happier. It's ultra high quality and easy to work with. Considering the first point of contact is your input jack, it makes complete sense to buy the best. These are the best.

スイッチクラフトと比べてもかなり強くプラグが固定されるので安心感があります接触不良の心配が無くなりました

Are you tired of replacing guitar jacks as they get noisy? You clean them or maybe a guitar tech does and they are better but not for long. Here is the guitar jacks to stop all that nonsense. These PureTone jacks get hold of that guitar cable and they make contact. They have 4 grips instead of two and they are short, near the base where they can maintain pressure. You may find yourself struggling to get your cable free from the guitar they hold so well. Install just like a regular guitar jack and come in several flavors and colors. They really make a difference. Put one in before yours starts acting up. The tabs are large and they have a large hole for you to put the wire through, so they are fairly easy to install. I soldering is not your thing, just run it down to your local guitar tech. Remember, Active guitars take Stereo jacks. 3 wire leads not just 2 like passive guitars. Get the right jack. Recommended
