Could be lamp or ballast. TV purchased in 2004. This is at least 5th bulb replacement, lost count.I would not have replaced the bulb except for the low price so gave 4 stars, unsure, was worth a shot at repair.From PT60LC13 repair manual:Error #5Power LED: flashes green for 140 seconds, then flashes redLAMP LED: flashes once every 5 secondsIC6003(pin19) detects the error of the Lamp, and Ballast C.B.A.,then indicates the error when an inner malfunction of BallastC.B.A. occurs, the Lamp voltage becomes more than 130V orless than 30V, the Lamp is cracked, the Thermal Fuse Unit isopen or the Lamp is not cooled off.

Worked just fine, good for the value, however it didn't line up when trying to set the screw in that holds it in place, it will rest there in it's own but takes away that peace of mind...

Bulb came fast and was as described. Worked great for ONE MONTH then quit. We will see how the warranty department is. I would sugest spending some more money on a quality bulb. I got what I paid for!

This Lamp was horrible. The installation went well, but the TV never appeared as bright as with the original lamp. Even worse, it only lasted 5 months (it's only warranted for 120 days). I would suggest looking for a different supplier for TV Lamps. I removed the lamp and noticed a lot of cracking on the inside of the lamp near the filament. Spend a few more dollars and get a better quality product.
