I ordered this down parka for the snowstorm we just had in Florida (9 inches!). It arrived promptly and ahead of the snow. It is very heavy and absolutely stuffed with high quality down. No feathers, just down. The outer shell is made of a high quality sporty fabric that has a nice, classy matte finish so it looked appropriate-I'm in my 50's and I didn't want to look like a teenager. That said, my 22 year-old daughter loves it and has already borrowed it. It is waterproof and breathable (although it's very warm). The hood has a fully detachable faux fur edge that is thick and plush. I ordered the light blue coat and it is a nice subdued greyish blue with a cream colored fur that has black "tips" on the fur part. The fur part is large and fluffy and it holds it's shape to frame your face in the most adorable way. The only downside is that there is no drawstring on the hood. The coat is relatively slimming and does not make me look huge at all, which is really impressive since the coat is so thick. It has black knit cuffs which keep my wrists warm-although the cuffs are a bit looser than they should be. The zipper is a thick plastic that glides smoothy and is easy to latch. The coat is just the right length to cover my backside without looking too long. The shoulders are nice and wide and not restricting. The inside of the coat is lined with a smooth fabric that makes it easy to get your arms in the sleeves. Overall this coat was not cheap but I am very glad I ordered it and would 100% purchase it again.

Initially I bought the same parka but with no down inside! The S size was really tight for me. Especially arms. I decided to check the same parka but with down inside- and hurrah it is really fit for me! The same S size is really normal and comfortable! Good quality and model! Very worm.

This jacket is so warm. I don't feel the need to wear extra layers to stay warm. Quality of the fur and zippers is good. I purchased a large and it fits well. Its a little snug around my hips but still fits. Pockets are very deep and fleece inside so they help keep hands warm.

220lb 5 '2 fits great super warm has a nice snap at the bottom so no draft it's zips and buttons the hood fur is super soft it's very stylish red winter coat! Snow an rain won't go through it so it's a win all around

Purchase a size up if wanting to wear a sweater is the advice I took from a review. It is correct. However, I think I'll send back for a samller size cuz I'll be wearing it on hikes, without the heavy sweater. Once I had the jacket on, I got warm quickly. The hood is huge though. The patch does not bother me. You'll stay warm.

Great coat they cheaped out in three key areas:1)they use buttons instead of snaps, what a fail! with cold hands or gloves, fidgeting with buttons and folding them into their slits is impossible.2) No side pockets, again, a major fail. The have hand pockets in front of the jacket, awkward not to be able to naturally slide your hands into side pockets on a winter coat.3) the wrist cuffs are very wide, they are not fitted to the wrist whatsoever. This means cold air circulates through your arms.4) the patch sucks but it takes 10 minutes to u do the stitching and remove it, no biggie
