Physically what I received was the exact same size, exactly, and therefore was an exact fit as to the original one I took out, which had stamped on it: Nissan 27277-EG02A. I replaced it with this one. It was an easy change, 5 or 6 Philips screws to remove the glovebox, unlatch the fuse block out of the way, and pull the plastic cover off the housing where the filter resides, and simply pull the old filter out, and slide the new one in.For 8 bucks you can not go wrong here, seriously, it's a no-brainer.Now the original one I took out the filter fabric was pretty dirty so it was really hard to see through to compare the filter material itself, but, I might say after examining this Purolator filter fabric material itself, it's maybe slightly (look / feel) aprox, 5 % thinner 'density' compared to the original; but again the old one was so dirty it's really hard to tell. I even vacuumed the old one which did not help it was still dirty.
