First off, 4 stars now stands for a "GOOD" item with me. Basically this item is above average. I am reserving 5 stars for those items that are far above average and something really special. LOL, just like hotel ratings. Sorry, I just think we all have overused the 5 star rating and it isn't fair when making reviews to say EVERYONE is the absolute, best they can be when there is room for improvement. Of course, 3 stars would be an average item. 2 = below average and 1 well, let's just say they are doing a poor job of things and really need to step up their game. ;-) Anyhow, let's get to the review of this funky purple lifting sling! It's a nice sling and, the color is BRIGHT enough to see it laying on the ground weather it is dirt, concrete or grass. Just for reference, I use lifting slings, straps, chains, clevises and log tongs a LOT as I own 2 FLU419's. A High Mobility Material Handler 30 ft crane (HMMH) and a Small Emplacement Excavator backhoe loader (SEE) that have been retired from US military service. (They are Operation Desert Storm veterans) I use both of them to handle logs that get run through my personal sawmill and a whole bunch of big rocks and boulders since I live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Yes, this funky PURPLE strap is going to see a lot of use. It does look like it will be around for a while as it is well made of strong material and precise stitching. The ONLY downside with this strap is that it does not come with a protective sleeve as some others do. Those sleeves come in handy when lifting odd shaped natural things like stones and logs where there can be a lot of rough edges. A suggestion for anyone purchasing these straps........ get a PAIR. Sadly, since this was a VINE program item given to me for review, they only let me have a single strap. I'm not complaining and it in no way hurts the quality of this strap but, they are MUCH MORE USEFUL as pairs. As my luck would have it, all my other sling straps are either 8 or 10 feet not 9 like this one so, I will be using this one all by itself most of the time to keep my loads balanced. So again, get a PAIR. Besides, you will get a little bit of a discount by ordering 2! And thank you to Indusafe for a fine product. I will put it to good use! And don't forget to follow me if you would like to see other, mostly mechanically related item reviews. I may not be the best writer but, I will give only straight up, honest reviews of the items I get for free. Or pay for, for that matter. My HONOR and YOUR OPINION of me as a person are more important than any amount of free stuff. And I don't ever want to steer you wrong with your hard earned money.
