This is super cute. My daughter wanted this for MONTHS...unfortunately, she is now terrified of it. We will be regifting it to my niece...she isn't afraid of anything.

I gave this my My 6 Year Old Neice for Christmas last year and she loves it. She does not go anywhere without it.

Can we talk, parent to parent? Okay, good. I can't remember the last time we saw our Little Girl this excited. I'll be totally honest with you. I didn't expect her to react to this Purse Pet the way that she did. I expected her to LIKE it. Because it's adorable, and it's interactive. I didn't realize she'd LOVE it. I'm talking, won't go anywhere without it, love. But hey, I'll take the big neck hug and tickled pink excitement. It's always fun when you get the nail right on the head, as far as a gift your child adores. So I don't mind sharing this quick tip with you......Want to make your child smile, and keep smiling?1. Order this Purse Pet.2. Give them the Purse Pet.That's it. That's all you have to do. I STILL don't get what makes it such a loved toy. Or why her friends won't stop asking their parents to get them one, after they see our Daughter's. After all, they don't all do that when it comes to her Paw Patrol tower sets, that cost six times what this Purse Pet does. Again, who am I to question what makes it special. I just know that I hit a home run in the "best Dad ever" stadium, by gifting her this Cattitude purse.The good news: it's truly interactive. Our Daughter loves Fingerlings, but they don't always react the way she expects them to. Her other interactive toys also don't have the same cuteness overload as this Purse Pet. But she can take this one with her anywhere she goes. And she does take it anywhere and everywhere. The cute blinking, the sounds, it's a winner.It also doesn't hurt that it's made by Spin Master. Know who DC Comics trusts to make all of their Batman, Superman, and other comic toys? Spin Master. Same with Paw Patrol. Even the giant version of Candyland. What that means to you is this: safety and quality. If Paw Patrol, DC Comics, and other huge brands use Spin Master, they must be doing something right. It gives me peace of mind knowing that a reputable manufacturer is involved with the toy that our Little Girl will be handling constantly. I don't have to worry about dangerous parts, or easily breaking. I don't have to make myself anxious worrying about whether or not her toy is made from weird, unsafe chemicals. Like so many other cheap toys that contain who knows what. As parents, we want our kids happy. But we also want them healthy. So I'm glad that I know exactly who made this toy.Is there anything I'd change about this toy? Maybe just two things. The first thing: batteries aren't included. I suspect that it's easier and faster for them to ship Purse Pets, if batteries aren't in the package. It's not a dealbreaker, if batteries aren't included like they are with their best-seller Glamicorn. All that really means is this: order a pack of AAA batteries when you order this. Especially if you're getting it as a gift for someone else's child. The purse HAS to be powered on to have fun with it. And the last thing you want is to have a friend or relative searching the house for three AAA batteries, stealing them from remotes, to save them from driving to the store just for that.Second thing. The plastic paneling that controls the Purse Pet, and holds the batteries, it's sort of on the big side. It's inside of the purse. So that's a little trade-off. The Purse Pet does amazing things. So it needs a decent-sized panel to make that happen. Point is, the purse does hold stuff. Just maybe not as much as you might expect. Funny enough, or Daughter doesn't seem to care about that part. She rarely puts anything inside of the purse, except for figurines (Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, etc).Listen. Do yourself a favor. Add this Purse Pet to your shopping cart. Maybe add some batteries, too. Then, check out. If you have Prime, you'll probably get the Purse Pet as soon as tomorrow. Great way to get a gift for a child, if you're short on time. And don't want to have to drive from store to store, seeing if they even have Purse Pets in stock. It's also worth ordering one ahead of time, if you're doing gift shopping for a special occasion (birthday or holiday). Because these things usually sell out quick, and then you can't find one for months. Better to order one now, and keep it tucked away. Than to put it off til the last minute, and then you just can't find it anywhere. Except for some seller online that wants to charge you three times the normal price. It's only $26. You have it on your card, why not just order it now? Buy it today, gift it to a child that deserves something this nice. You'll be thankful that you did.

Adorable!!! Easy to use

The Purse Pets, Cattitude Interactive Pet and Handbag with Over 30 Sounds and Reactions, Kids Toys for Girls Ages 5 and up is a cute purse to play with and keep someone amused with while shopping or playing. It is on the loud side with no volume control. Fortunately you can play with it in mute mode so you can get the blinking eyes without the talking. It is a cheerful voice that starts off with a big "HELLO" and all the comments I've heard so far are quite friendly. I've been able to get it into on the go mode, sleep mode and the secret song mode but haven't been able to really work the magic or strut mode yet.There are A LOT of pages of instructions but it turns out there are just many repetitions of the same instructions in many languages. It makes it a bit more challenging to sort out the bits you need. The batteries were a bit finicky to put in and I'm still not sure I've got the cover screwed down completely.The plastic works take up a lot of the purse compartment but there is still room for either a very small wallet or a cell phone and a few small essentials.Cute and soft to the touch and well put together this will be fun as a novel companion when you are out and about.
