Push-pull means you can reverse the inner core and turn it into either a push or a pull solenoid. it operates at 12 volts and delivers a 25 newton force, about the force of holding up a bag of flour or sugar, or the force needed to open a heavy door. In other words, pretty substantial force, but a short throw -- 10mm.

I love working with electromagnets and switches for various microcontroller programs and product prototyping. The only thing about this component is that you have to dig around for documentation online for proper setup. However, that is not a deal breaker because it is easy to find; and common because most components sold these days require the same research. Operates off a 12V so, can be used with typically auto applications as well! Fun to play and create with!
