I purchased this item for my puzzle-loving friend who lives in a nursing home. I liked the idea that they had to open up one box each day to complete the whole puzzle. This was a huge hit. The pieces are well made, heavy-duty. The pictures are wonderful and full of color. I will be purchasing more of these puzzles.

Gave this to a family with a toddler who never had an Advent calendar before. The Mom says it is well made and sturdy. the drawers are good sizes to put gifts in. The grandma is excited to be in charge! They plan to display it on their mantel.

Got this for our daughter and her family, as we always get advent calendars for the grand-kids, and we liked the idea of having a "family advent calendar" that they would be able to do together every night.Pros: Item arrived well packaged with no obvious defects. The box is sturdy and attractive, and gifting this is no problem as it is so well done. The puzzles are "old fashioned" in style, and that was the appeal to my wife. This reminds her of Christmas from days-gone-by, and brings back memories. The calendar also comes with a large poster, so you're able to see how each puzzle will look once it's completed. You'd be able to frame this as a whole once every puzzle is together, and my wife is considering purchasing some puzzle glue and a backing so that our daughter and her family are able to frame and keep this. The kids love crafts, and this is a fantastic way to get the entire family involved.Cons: Absolutely none!Overall, this is really well done, and we would highly recommend.
