Sadly this was a gift for a grandchild that didn't make Christmas. We just now set it up and put it together for some of the other grandkids could see and get their response on what they thought of it. Mr "I hate everything" didn't like it because he couldn't take it home to end up broken like his other toys. All the others like it. Some got a little upset with it falling off track. Others laughed each time it fell off. One even knocked it off when it didn't fall fast enough. Some of the grandkids took turns pretending they were steering the car around the maze. One of our smart little granddaughter took a screw and attached a long string onto the top of the car. I no longer had to get up and go retrieve a fallen car. I wrap the string around the screw for the grandkids full of energy who like leaping across the maze to pick up the car. I can't see any normal kid not liking this toy.

The puzzle pieces snap together really easy. The train connects to the track easily. The train moves so quickly at times it does jump the track. But kiddo thinks it's funny, He is having fun with it. His 2 favorite things puzzles and trains.

My three-year old grandson is having a wonderful time with the racer set. While he may not always build it as intended, he is enjoying the pieces and slowly learning how to use it. With a little help, he is starting to create pathways for the car to move along and learn the results of his choices. In time, I am sure he will get more creative with this. But he already enjoys this a lot so we only have more enjoyment to come.

I got a great lighning deal on this. I believe it was in October. We just did our christmas decorating today, and my son had to much fun with this, and the instructions to correctly put it together are super easy. The train will run off the tracks at times, but my son thinks it's a hallarious feature.

When you talk cheap this is it. The concept is great. A puzzle to put together and run a train on it. Sadly the train engine is so cheap it skips out of the track all the time. Not worth a nickel!

Bought the Christmas themed version as a fun lead into Christmas gift. We cracked into on turkey day and it was a lot of fun. The car actually zips around pretty good! And I could see the potential for buying more pieces to expand and get crazy with the patterns and tracks. Was fun to make different configurations of the track. I think buying different versions would be fun to make one big amalgamation of different areas/themes. It definitely will not take a beating so we are not too rough on it but there really isn't a need to be so hard on it haha. Had fun for a good long while with it!

If a toy can hold up to my three-year-old grandson, then it deserves some credit! The train works great and the mechanism to run it is simple. I'm impressed with how well it runs on a single AAA battery. I had to take the train apart as my grandson pushed in the track wheel, but it was easy to fix. If your kids are not so rough on toys, you will not have any problems with this item. I like how the tracks are so interactive and can be changed around.
