Installation Instruction:
EASY TO INSTALL:
1.Remove the pan and valve body to expose the bottom of the transmission.
2.Remove the adjusting screw from the band.
3.Remove the original strut and anchor.
4.Insert the band strut with the flat surface facing away from band. Next, Insert the anchor.
5.Replace the adjusting screw and set it to the manufacturer's standards.

I planned to use this for my 47re rebuild. It would have been a great upgrade considering it is stronger and more stout than the oem flimsy band strut. However, when I tried to install it, the strut was just a bit too wide and was rubbing on the transmission case. I could have grounded the strut down a bit, but decided not to and just bought this same upgrade kit from a reputable company and had no issues with theirs.
