I decided to take a gamble and purchased a "Like New" Pyle Universal Speaker Tripod Stand Mount, and I'm happy to report that it truly was like new. This speaker stand is an excellent buy for the price. It's lightweight yet sturdy, easily supporting my JBL 120 speaker without any issues. The stand extends up to 70 inches in height, which is more than enough for my needs, and provides great elevation for optimal sound projection. The added safety clip is a nice touch, giving me peace of mind that my speaker is securely mounted. The lifetime warranty is another big plus, showing that Pyle stands behind their product.Overall, this stand offers outstanding value and performance, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the purchase.

Needed a short but sturdy antenna mast to put a dual-band amateur radio antenna on my apartment balcony. The ones I found were twice the price or more. This speaker stand does the job perfectly, and can be set wide for excellent stability.

This speaker stand is much nicer quality than expected given the price - held a heavy speaker without issue despite being bumped into several times.

Pole Diameter: 32mm / 30.2cm {this is the bar/part that the speak sit atop}. = See Photos. The thing is rock solid... the build, the stability and locking pin* all feel well made and solid. The height is variable, from about 1Meter to 2 Meters + the speaker on top.The base (which is solid) can be adjusted into two "base heights".... meaning with the tripod in the....- lower position it's about 1meter tall + the extension bar to about 1.75 meters.- higher position it's about 1.5 meter + the extension bar to about 2.0 meters (as the legs need to be wider/lower to support the extra height).-Like the legs, the position of the extension bar can also be adjusted to any height within it's range/length of about 1 meter using the well built hand-screw tightener. The bar can also be locked into place (four holes at about 20cm intervals[see photos]) using the supplied/attached locking pin.... which is lipped to sit onto the edge of the holding pipe. The only thing I'd have liked that the product doesn't have, is for the locking pin to have had an integrated ball bearing or additional hole/pin combo to "lock" the main pin into place.... it isn't really needed (due to the hand screw) but it would have been a nice little extra.A Great product, and I actually purchased a second one after receiving this first item.

I'm a grumpy old man who is rarely satisfied with most of my online purchases. But this product is a rare exception. This thing is great! It's built like a tank, has a decent paint finish, and was packed reasonably well for shipping. My only complaint might be that the safety pin that holds the stand in an extended position can act like a guillotine if you don't watch your fingers while lowering the stand. But you'll probably only make that mistake one. I'll certainly buy another one of these stands if the need arises.

For the cheap price I was expecting a flimsy product, but this tripod is strong and built well. Barely any assembly, just slide one pipe into another, adjust to the height you want and tighten a couple of set screws. Very easy to adjust the legs in and out, they are attached to each other so they move together. That means you've always got a perfect triangle as a base. Can't believe how sturdy it is!

First off I'll say for the price the value is excellent. This pile stand can hold up to 130 lbs, at least that's what the box says. I only needed to hold my 24-in monitor with the mini PC mounted on the back. I added a camera mount above it, for a phone, camera rig with lights. The stand is metal, rubber feet, adjustable height from 4'- 6' tall. The pole is 35mm thick, can hold speakers, monitors, cameras, lights and more.I wanted to build a setup I can use my computer away from my desk, but have a screen bigger than a laptop. This did the job. My family uses this to Zoom with family, and friends. I can even lounge on my sofa while working.I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out.

Works exactly as expected and it has held up well over many months. I use a 10" Active PA speaker on this and it works beautifully for that purpose. Easy setup and operation; completely solid and stable. Probably not the best stand in the world or the most rugged, but for this price, I can't give it less than 5 stars. Unless you've got some really expensive or heavy speakers, I wouldn't spend it on a more expensive stand. Use the money you save to get better audio gear.**UPDATE** 10/2016 - Left it standing in the upright folded position. It toppled over on concrete and the plastic hinge shattered as it hit the ground. This is not a heavy duty or gig-worthy type of gear but should be good for the casual user as long as you're careful not to make the same mistake I did.
