Being Pyrex, these are remarkably, well made [sturdy], pie plates. They are deeper than I was expecting, but would be ideal for a deep dish apple pie, or mile high [glazed] strawberry pie, or anything else you need an ovenproof glass baking dish for.

Got two of these pie plates, and I love them...with the wide fluted edge. But did find that instead of two cans of pie filling like I used for my old plates, it takes three cans to fill these. But that's okay. The smaller ones can be used for smaller pies when needed, and the larger ones reserved for times when a very large pie is wanted. Also be aware that more pie crust will be necessary to cover the larger plates. Would certainly recommend these for folks wanting to bake pies of a larger size. Great price, good well-packed delivery. I'm a happy buyer.
